Does anybody know if the Tosa East Team is still called the Raiders? Do they still use the mascot on this page? A lot of schools have gotten rid of their Indian mascots in the quest for political correctness, so I was just curious to know if Tosa East has followed suit.

Yes Barbara -- they abandoned the Raider quite a while ago. They still called themselves "Red Raiders" but rather than honoring the Native Americans who were here before us, and who we all learned about, and learned to admire, in 4th grade....they're going with a pirate now. Really. Tell me...aren't pirates actually committing violent crimes today? They're a historical 'character' but still truly exist, and are NOT good people.
