Holiday In-Person Gathering

What date would work best for you for a casual in-person gathering in the Milwaukee area around the holidays?

Hi Folks! Laurel here. If you're on our Facebook group, you might have seen there's been some chatter about planning a get-together in person, over the holidays. I'm proposing to organize something small, laid back, low-key, affordable in the Milwaukee area.

I just posted a preliminary poll on Facebook, and this poll is asking same: What date would work best for you for an in-person gathering in the Milwaukee area around the holidays? Christmas Eve is Friday, Christmas Day on Saturday, likewise New Years. 

The place I'm recommending is Mequon Public Market at 6300 W. Mequon Road. The place closes at 8 pm, so this would be an early night, we'd want to start gathering late afternoon... 4 pm or something like that.

I'd like to do it after Christmas. Or it could be a laid-back early evening New Years Eve gathering.

The Mequon Public Market has a spacious area upstairs that can be reserved if we have a large enough RSVP group. Lots of tables, couches and soft chairs, a kitchen area, and really cool -- a large-screen monitor; if it works, we could Zoom friends in from afar. Lots of excellent very affordable food, beverage, and dessert choices downstairs. I think it would be fun to bring our favorite board games, just hang out for a couple of hours. Maybe some low-key mixer activities, name tags, maybe charades, etc.. Oh...there is also a small stage upstairs. Could do a karaoke party. (I've never done that before, but I do have access to a small amplifier...)

This poll is specifically about the date but put in the comments your thoughts. I'll also email the full group. (Note: this is exploratory; I'd have to confirm that the facility is available the day we pick (reservations are only needed if we are above a certain size, I think it may be 20 or 30.)
