Daniel Smith

Dear Classmates,

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all...

I am writing to ask for those whom I have sinned against during my Wauwatosa School days to please forgive me of what surely were many offences against many, and most importantly against our Lord and God.  He has forgiven me and that by His finished work on the cross and resurrection and by His promises and by the faith that He gives, and has given me,[overwhelming mercy], to believe according what He has done and written that "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures." - 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.  "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves;  it is the gift of God:  not of works, lest any man should boast."  Will you also please forgive me?

For those of you who remember particular offences towards you or others, will you please write me about them so i may address these sins personally?

I praise our Lord and give Him thanks and those who have worked to make this possible, for all that goes into and supporting such a website for precious times as these.  Thanks...

yours in Christ Jesus,

in Christian love,

daniel Smith

Dan,

It is never too late to expose social vulnerability and it sure is appreciated that you have chosen to do so. Let the healing begin.  I will share with you in private my thoughts surrounding your question.

Hi Dan! Beautiful sentiments! Rest assured, you did absolutely nothing wrong as far as I am concerned. Always remember that you are part of Christ's commandments. Love your neighbor as yourself, and forgive 70 x 70 if necessary. Love and forgive yourself!  God is good and all merciful. A heart that seeks God funds Him. When I started paying attention to Christ in my daily life, everything changed in my world, opportunities opened up in my business, a new business was born, and then after 15 years of marriage our daughter was born! You are on the right path!  Don't look back! Wish you all the best!

Dear Dan, I can also say that you were nothing but fun, kind and caring. I so enjoyed our friendship in HS and going to Homecoming together with Johnny and date. Those years can be tough but you always treated me with utmost respect. Our Lord God knows you have a good heart and although we all have all made mistakes even with our best intentions, HE has forgiven any trespass you feel you have committed. Being almost 60 is liberating; identify where you have fallen short and know you have been forgiven. Then seize love and career satisfaction as though nothing can hold you back. Peace in Christ, Trish
